Custom Homes
If you are wanting to do a complete custom home from the ground up, we are here to complete the project for you. We work with many different architects that can help draw / design a home for you. If you have your own architect firm , we can work with them. The secret that we found is that by working with the architect from the beginning, the project can be VALUED DESIGNED in order to get what you want within a certain budget. All of the options are laid out throughout the whole process. Generally small groups of selections are made along the way in order to keep the stress level down to nothing.
Along with working with architects, we can help bring in Interior Designers that we have worked with in the past to help with color schemes and interior options. We have access to many different interior showrooms that can help along the process for the correct design look you are wanting. While purchasing products through most of the showrooms, discount pricing is passed onto the customer to help with certain high price items. During the project if options need to be changed or redirected, we can do that very simple for you sometimes without any additional charges to the project.
Throughout the process of building a custom home, the goal is to be there every step with you in order to make the experience the best one you can have. At Post Oak Homes, at the end of the project we want it to be exactly what you dreamed for it to be.
Residential Remodel
On the other hand if you are wanting to stay at the current location that you are in, we can help with a remodel / add-on to the structure to make it a new home for many years to come. Just like the Custom Home process, we are there through the whole process. Unlike a new custom house, there are many unforeseen things that might pop up during the process. This is very common during a remodel / add-on project. Over the past 23 years we have worked in houses that have dated back from the 1920’s – early 2010’s. With that much range we have seen everything that has been built over a 100 year period. That knowledge has taught us how and what to expect in certain homes depending on the location of them throughout Austin and the surrounding areas.
Similar to the Custom Home process, we work hand and hand through each step with you. We can bring in designers / architects to make the process more visual if need be. Samples are provided / small mock ups can be built along the way in order to make sure what you are really wanting is constructed for you and your family to last many years down the road. Over the past 23 years, over 85 + projects have been completed. Many of them have consisted of repeat clients at the same house, or a new house as they moved to a new location.
